Dead.Ground's sound is swarming with distorted and hard-hitting riffs, and contrasting points of soothing melodic vocals and atmospheric noises.
Formed in Exeter by frontman Ollie Harris in late 2014, they set out to captivate their audiences with their enigmatic performance, creating worlds of angsty, and sometimes reflective, sound.
"We just want people to escape for the night, whether they want to sit and stare at us or go crazy and jump around like a lunatic. For people to feel pumped enough that they could sprint the 10 miles back home after our set if they wanted to."
After support from BBC Introducing following their first single release in April, 'Black Ocean', this three piece are set to release their first EP in early 2016 followed by a string of gigs and festival appearances to attract new followers.
