Drawing inspiration from artists such as Vampire Weekend, Slow Club and Coldplay, 19 year old Singer-Songwriter from Portsmouth Jerry Williams narrative storytelling has caught the attention of some big songwriters and she has collaborated with Dan Carey (Rae Morris, Miles Kane), Carey Willets (Athlete) and Jim Duguid (Paulo Nutini, Alex Clare) and has been compared to the likes of Lily Allen and Gabrielle Aplin. Jerry draws the inspiration for her lyrics from her life growing up in her home town, as well as her own experiences of relationships.
As one of the UK’s most exciting upcoming female artists of 2016, adding to her accomplishments Jerry and her band appeared at BST Hyde Park on July 9th 2016 along with Take That, Olly Murs and more.
Already packing out venues across her home town of Portsmouth, Jerry Williams has been impressing music fans across Europe following her debut European Tour supporting Vanessa Carlton, which saw her play a sold-out show at the Lexington, London.
Also adding to her achievements, Jerry's E.P "Let's Just Forget It" received a nomination for Best E.P/Album of 2016, and was recognised as the Best Procuded Engineered Record of 2016 by the Unsigned Music Awards 2016.
